The County Down Fleadh was held this year in Downpatrick. Ards CCÉ was able to enter two groups this year called the Calvert and Crilly groups (both named after two founding members of Ards CCÉ). I'm in the Calvert group and the photo above is of both groups together. I felt really honoured to count our group in, which I did in Irish!

Competition was tough that day but both groups made it through to the Ulster finals! It's a fantastic achievement and all credit is due to our teachers, Bronagh McLean and Colleen McCleery. I can't wait for the next round - the Ulster Fleadh in July!
