#4 Beechwood Recording Studio

For Christmas my Godmother, Donna gave me a very thoughtful and unusual present - some recording time in a music studio! I was booked into Beechwood Recording Studio in Derry. The studio is run by Brian McGonagle. Brian started the studio a few years ago and it is absolutely fantastic. He has a whole range of instruments, amps, mixing desks and all sorts of other equipment there.

Brian was very nice and patient too. He took a lot time setting up my harp and placing microphones at the right places to capture the harp's sound perfectly. He was also very generous with his time. I thought we might record a few songs that morning but Brian spent all day with me and we recorded over a dozen songs! It was an amazing day and I would recommend Beechwood Studios to anyone looking to record their music.

I am so grateful to Donna and Brian for wonderful and unforgettable experience.
